After the twilight when day is through
I lay ready for sleep and think of you
Of moments in the bright sunshine
And hours of memories you've made mine
Keeping me awake and full of many thoughts
Yet I wouldn't trade them for little or lots.
These are the fruits upon the trees it seems
That are nourishing stories in all my dreams
So I lay and wonder which is more precious
To sleep or stay awake to feel your treasures.
