Chains

Postby Praiseus_Maximus » Thu Mar 03, 2011 8:23 pm

In the enemy camp they had gone to great pains
To keep men of God shackled in chains
But one man had a vision that they could'nt see
And he was determined that he would break free

The power of God would be shown in this land
As he prayed to the Father to strengthen his hand
With a mighty tremor he felt the ground shake
And as he pulled on his chains, he then felt them break

He lifted a chain as it swung from his fist
And thought "I can do some real damage with this"
The enemy tried to regain control
But the power of God burned deep in his soul

Chains once used to bind are now used to fight
Now wielded as weapons of God's holy might
He new his deliverance would not be complete
Until every last enemy lay dead at his feet

Those still in bondage could now shout with glee
Because now he could help all of them break free
Those very chains that once had you bound
Can be used as weapons if the faith can be found
