He WILL carry you

I took this from my Contagious Christianity book...

This is about a man who was rolling a wheelbarrow back and forth across the Niagra Falls on a tightrope. Thousands of people on both sides cheered him on. Next, he put a two-hundred pound sack of dirt in the wheelbarrow and rolled it across and back.
"Who believes I can roll a man across?" he asked?
Everybody cheered and shouted their agreement. The tightrope walker then asked, "Who will come and sit in the wheelbarrow?"
The crowd fell entirely silent; nobody was willing to risk it. Although they professed belief, nobody was willing to act on it.

If we risk it, and put our faith entirely in the Father through Jesus Christ, He will carry us to safety.

I know I need to act on it. I may have one foot in the wheelbarrow, but I haven't climbed in yet.

Dear Lord God, please help me to put my trust entirely in you. Please help us all to. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
