Blood Covering?

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Blood Covering?

Hello Christianity Oasis, All...

Blessings to you from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Well Amen...but let's add a little bit of understanding to our noggins about our blood covering and our canopy of protection. Let's take canopy of protection first. You do not have a canopy of protection unless you put on the whole armor of God. Secondly, the Blood of Jesus has not been placed over God's children nor does it protect us from evil. When Christ ascended into Heaven He cleansed the altar in the Holy of Holies with His Blood, in effect cancelling out the sin of Adam and restoring those of us that believe in Him in fellowship with God the Father. In effect...as Adam was a Son of God before He fell, we regain our status as sons and daughters of God as though nothing ever happened to offend our Heavenly Dad in the first place. That blood in the Holy of Holies is ever present to remind the Lord our God that He is at peace with us and can love us as a Father loves His children, the key being that we continue to recognize that the Blood of the Lamb keeps us in fellowship with the Father. Why? Because it is an everlasting covenant! In short the Blood of Jesus protects us from the wrath of God...not the wickedness of the devil. The whole armor of God has been given us for protection when the devil assaults us. Furthermore, the Blood of Jesus is not only on the Mercy Seat in Heaven, but as the Apostle John tells us, if we confess our sins God is faithful to forgive us our sin and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. In other words the Blood of Christ is a living force within us "always" present through our belief in its efficacy and our confession of sin when we mess up. Such is why the Apostle Paul advises us to approach the Throne of Grace boldly. There isn't anything separating us from the love of God but our feeling of unworthiness. We need to address that feeling for what it is...a lie...The best way I can explain our everlasting love relationship with God is this. You can stand before Him in peace with Him when you ask for help for the Blood of Jesus has removed the anger of God toward you and replaced it with His love, and you can sit before the Lord our God Heavenly Love Dad in peace because the Blood of Jesus gives you entrance to His presence so great only love is present between you and Him. . Summed up...because of the Blood of the Lamb we have "fellowship" with God our Heavenly Dad and each other, for through the Blood of our Lord Jesus we keep the bond of peace through God's love for us and the Blood of the Lamb.

Love, in Christ Jesus, Saint701.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
