Spiritual Life in the "What If" Zone

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Spiritual Life in the "What If" Zone

Hello Christianity Oasis, All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

We attribute knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to those that have attended higher institutions of learning. Their advanced degrees give them access to the better jobs, higher pay, and such equates to a higher standard of living than those they supervise. These have vision. They see solutions to problems. They make their visions come true.
Such has led to a remarkably advanced techno society where visions abound and there appears to be no end to mankind’s ability to advance knowledge. But, “what if” those visionaries had taken a right turn instead of a left one…we’re not talking politics here…in this article to be on the left is to be a visionary that advances knowledge for the benefit of mankind, (the world), or money.

What then is a right turn, and “what if” the left had made a right turn instead of a left one? In other words, “what if” to the left would be all those whose eyes are on the physical world and their physical selves. “What if” to the right would be all those whose eyes are upon the spiritual world and their spiritual selves. The right, of course, would be concerned with advancing the knowledge of God and His visions for the benefit of Himself, those spiritual, and the rest of mankind if they would choose to opt in. Certain assumptions would apply of course, but to discuss those assumptions here will not lead us to the “what if” we are looking for.

The “what if” we are looking for is this. “What if” there wasn’t a left or a right. “What if” all on this planet only looked to God for His vision for us, to only accomplish things with His knowledge, wisdom, power and understanding? How would that make this world different?

Let’s begin with the vision God has, has had, and still has for mankind. His vision began with “Let us make man in our own image.” Of course we know that vision for mankind didn’t pan out very well to those of us only capable of thinking physically. However, the vision of God making man in His own image didn’t end with Adam as many believe and know. Adam was a prototype of physical man made in the image of God. He was created to teach us that physical man, with his 5 senses, can’t please Him; the reason being that the physical man has a tendency to rebel against God because he can’t obey Him. The physical man Adam was created to teach us that of our physical selves we can’t please Him. Physical man is corrupted by his lusts and love of the world. The vision of God making man in His own image did not end with Adam. Adam was our lesson about having a relationship with God only in the physical sense.

God is Spirit. Jesus came to us in the physical form of God, but in coming to us He taught us that the physical body of a man is nothing more than a suit of clothes. He demonstrated that man could indeed please God through obedience, but not through his 5 senses. Jesus came to us with the life of God inside Him. His lesson for us was that man could indeed please God if God Himself was the life inside that which is a mere suit of clothes and the Spiritual mind that made Jesus an extraordinary man in all respects. However, for that to become true of us as it was of our Lord Jesus, Jesus had to pay the penalty for physical man’s lust that led to rebellion. Thus, with His death for us, (still of Adam), the just for the unjust, (us of Adam), God raised Christ Jesus up from the dead. That great, mighty and powerful work of God created a new species. Christ, being the first born Son of God from the dead, became the progenitor of a new race, one with a sinless physical body quickened by the Spirit of God, God Himself living within the first born of that new race one might call the Word of God, and the Word of God Himself, Jesus Christ our Lord, would live in His Seed, the Word of God, and be called Trees of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord.

Now “what if” all Adam kind chose to believe in God, desiring to be made in His image through the Word of God, Jesus Christ our Lord,, on the inside through the working of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, the Holy Ghost? What if we all stopped texting, talking on the phone, writing emails, playing games and stopped long enough to consider what it would mean to us to have Jesus directing our actions, and God Almighty also. What would it be like to be a member of God’s new race of man, a Spiritual man? As with Christ our Lord and Savior, God living inside us directing our works would enable us to please Him through our obedience. What would the world be like now? “What if” we all chose to become a member of God’s family/household/…in actuality His Sons and Daughters through Christ Jesus, the seed of Abraham, through the Promise of God, that his seed would become as the stars of heaven? Those of the race, “Word of God,” are glorified in Heaven the same as their Lord, thus fulfilling God’s promise to Abraham that his seed would be as the stars of heaven. Do you remember what the Apostle Paul saw on the way to Damascus? He saw Jesus as a magnificent light so bright that he was made blind for a short time. That same glory of the resurrected Christ belongs to those bold enough to believe the Word of God and become a “Tree of Righteousness,” the planting of the Lord.

As it is written…

Job.36
[11] If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Pss.16
[11] Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Pss.34
[8] O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

Pss.119
[103] How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

1Cor.2

[9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1John.3

[2] Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Notwithstanding, of consequence many blame God for all the ills of this world both past and present. And yet, if we hear the leaders of this world speak, humankind will get it right. They just have to keep working at it. At some point those on this planet made ready will evolve into what God originally intended mankind to be, God Man. Once humankind has evolved into God Man they will be God and they will fix all of the problems God has brought upon them from the beginning. Really?

I have yet to see supermen and women out there anywhere. I do not see the ills of this world decreasing. Oh, but it is God’s fault we are failing. He won’t help us! Oops! That is where humankind gets it wrong. God’s vision for man to be God Men and Women went way beyond man’s physical senses for the most part. He had a vision of us being made in His image, but His vision was for us to become not just God Men and God women, but His offspring, that is, sons and daughters with a living spiritual life inside a physical body made in His likeness, not a temporary body that dies, but an eternal body that lives forever. His long term plan was for us to be conformed to the image of His Son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God’s new man in Christ our Lord would be the very creature men imagine they are destined to evolve into, but after their own image. Right there is the problem. That is where man walked away from the Kingdom of God. One cannot live in a kingdom if they will not obey their king!!

My King’s vision for His Kingdom, the Kingdom of God Almighty, Lord of Lords and King of Kings, the Kingdom of the First Born, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit, was to raise up a new species with the life of God inside them, made in the image of God. That is God’s vision for everyone on this planet, for all to obey Him, and all be transformed literally from the inside out “in part” while we still wear this earthly garment. What? You do not believe me? That is the problem. God’s promises are only understood through faith, and that by experiencing those promises within ourselves “in part” now, while still in this physical body. Faith is not an imaginary power we idiots that call ourselves Christians possess that is void of reality. If we keep our faith long term expecting those things to come to pass experientially God has promised us, we will know He is true to His Word. We will experience the truthfulness of His promises so that we will know that which He has promised us He will perform.
Let’s take a look at those things that the Sons and Daughters of God are given to experience of His Kingdom and His Power, and His Glory while still in this physical body that dies.

Here is the list of them. We are born again from the dead through the Word of God. Old things really do pass away and all things become new. We cry Abba, Father through the Spirit of God. We become filled with the Holy Spirit. We are given a new language, and perhaps ministry gifts such as gifts of healings. We taste the powers of the world to come. We taste the good Word of God. God fills our heart with His incredible love through the Holy Spirit. We become enlightened. We are given the wisdom, the knowledge, and the understanding of the Word of God by the Spirit of Truth to know the greatness of our calling into glory and the family of God.

Now, “what if” mankind stopped their absurd march toward self-annihilation, and gave themselves over to faith in God for the purpose of experiencing His exceedingly great and precious promises as Peter called them, that we all might become partakers of the divine nature, and become the Sons and Daughters of God? The answer is that we would all be transformed from glory to glory, and in becoming partakers of the divine nature, our pursuit of happiness would be found in pleasing God. What pleases God? It pleases God when we have Christ in us directing our actions to please Him. What are those actions that please Him? They are faith actions and love actions.

2Pet.1

[4] Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

If all on this planet would believe in God according to the Word of God, and receive His Spirit into them to direct and guide them, the earth would become a place of never ending joy.
Please understand these Words of God that become true of Him in us when we believe and continue believing, and continue believing, and continue believing…but if you stop believing and think you can't start believing again...that is a lie...to turn yourself back to the light...love God and start believing again.

Ezekiel.36
[26] A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
[27] And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

John.17

[17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
[18] As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
[19] And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
[21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
[22] And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
[23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
