What's Your KH Status?

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

What's Your KH Status?

Hello Christianity Oasis!

Blessings!

We've discussed quite a few topics the past few years, and from time to time I discover I've discussed a subject more than once. We could say that such was just a review of the subject matter, but it really more than just that, it's a topic the Lord wants discussed from a different angle that adds new knowledge and reinforces what He has already said to us. As such we have more to say about our high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Most just ignore some of Paul's statements that are really key in growing up spiritually. Being the natural creatures we are to begin with it makes following directions given to us in the New Testament difficult at times. As natural men and women we get to choose the path of our life and direct its twists and turns. We don't have to wait on directions. Hopefully we learned the lessons our natural father gave us and live within those boundaries, but with the Father of our Spiritual man we tend not to make the connection that we must go through the growing up process and learn lessons for our adult spiritual life.

One thing that makes it difficult for us to figure out where we are in our walk is that we have become children of the Great King, the offspring of God Almighty! Because of that certain protocols must be observed where the King's children are concerned. One such protocol has to do with our education. We don't grow up sitting on the King's knees, but as Paul tells us, we are given to tutors and governors until such time that we come of age.

Gal.4
[1] Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
[2] But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
[3] Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
[4] But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
[5] To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
[6] And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
[7] Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Our challenge is to have the right perspective about who God has made us in Christ Jesus. Even though we are surrounded by natural things we are the offspring of God who is a King and has a vast Kingdom. We must see ourselves in the Kingdom of God surrounded by tutors and governors; not as men in the natural, but as the offspring of God in the eternal realm. A child of a King need not walk as a mere mortal, but carry the mind that you are royalty wherever you go and in whatever you do. You are the offspring of God Almighty! Walk as a princess of the Great King would walk, and walk as a prince of the Great King would walk!

Love, In Christ Jesus, Saint.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
