I want to encourage married couples to write what they love about their spouses! Not the "you make me feel" stuff, more like the appreciation for the times they've listened or helped with something.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND! I'm so grateful of the ways he will step up and be a dad, taking care of our two sons while I'm at work for the entire day!

That is wonderful!!!!

My spouse and I have been doing a study on Love and Respect. It comes from the bible verse about wives respect your husbands and husbands respect your wives.

I've been trying to express to my spouse what I respect about him. It's not very easy as what really is respect?????

I began with telling him how I respect that he works hard to provide for his family. It made him smile.

I don't often use the word "respect" which is what this bible study says to do. I know if my spouse were to do something to make my life easier then say to me he did this because he loves me I would absolutely melt like puddy.

Ok. I did it. My wife made a dinner tonight that my son and I really enjoy, but not so much her.
I acknowledged that and thanked her as I noted she did it out of love for us. She looked at me
and smiled, then blew me a kiss.

Sometimes my wife makes choices based on her family's needs and wants over her own.
Ok. The more I think about it...I have to change that "Sometimes" to Often. *Glomp2*

Respect isn't a word that is commonly used anymore... I respect my husband's decisions when it comes to the wellbeing of our family... He is the high priest and head of the household, and it's not as common to hear that men are the head anymore. Yes, women have a say and an opinion but the husband makes the final decision on what is best. (in my opinion, anyway)
