Feeling the healing? It feels great, doesn't it?!

Our next stop on our road trip to Freedom ... Is to take our focus off of ourselves and our day to day problems and looking instead at helping others with their problems.

We were in the darkness, but now we are walking toward the light and can see much better. We know what these other lost souls need. They are silenced like we once were. We need to help them.

We Need to Pay it Forward

We are going to turn our past experience from a curse to a blessing. We can reach these silenced souls living in such darkness who other people cannot and/or choose not to reach, because we have the secret recipe to being able to reach these lost and troubled souls.

We have been there and are escaping the darkness. We know the darkness well and they will feel us. We have a road map to escape the darkness. If we don't help these souls, they will continue to hurt themselves or others, or even do it again to another generation of children. We have the antidote. We now know the path to freedom.

There is a story about a woman who was hurt like we were. But, the ending of her story is what we are striving for. She doesn't let her past keep her from living and is using her past to help others.

The Ballad of Yvonne Johnson

"My name is Yvonne Johnson, my native blood is Cree. I'm here to tell the story of the life stolen from me.

"My grandfather's grandfather was the great war chief Big Bear and Flora my grandmother worked with medicine and prayer. My mother is Saskatchewan, my daddy ex-Marine, and I was just a half-breed falling somewhere in between.

"Raised up in a reckless world of drugs and alcohol, the police killed my brother Earl, the only one who cared at all. Cleft palate split my face in two, no surgery could repair, I lived in shame and ridicule, foundations of despair.

"First memory of my brother Leon, I was only three. He threw me on the table, forced himself inside of me. All the kids stood 'round as I descended into hell. When I told my daddy 'bout it, he had his way as well, boys. He took me down as well.

"I didn't have a language for the pain I suffered through, escaping into marriage, but your past just catches up with you. Until I had three children and a ragged family, a desperate urge to keep them from the wolves that got to me, boys. Wolves that got to me.

"I wish I could forget that night, the way the cards all fell. The deck was stacked against me, and I played my part so well. Three days on the party in a drunken revelry, Shirley Ann said Chuck had plans to lure my kids from me.
"We stuck him with a dagger and we beat him 'round the head. I unleashed all my anger and I didn't stop when he was dead. They set me up to take the fall; I went down willingly. Now I'm doing life in prison while the rest of them run free, boys. They're all running free.

"Grandmother, grandmother, send your prayers to me. Protect me and my children for I love them endlessly. Creator, creator, I have come alive. Medicine Bear Woman doing life at 35. Life at 35.

"I pray: Help me to make my amends to those that I have harmed. Grant them love and peace so they understand I'm sorry. Help me share my shame and pain so others they might do the same. And so awaken to themselves and to all peoples of this world."

Check out her last words. Wow. After all she went though, she is trying to make amends. Then she prays that she is able to share what she felt and went through so others can recover as well and find the freedom and strength that she did. And awaken themselves.

This is what we must do for others. We must love others.

Mark 12:28-31

28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Parental Incest Research
Incest in the Family Help

If we continue to ignore the other souls that are going through the same thing we went through, is that loving them? Absolutely not. Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors as our self. We finally cared enough for ourselves to get help. Now, we need to care for others just as much, and help them by showing them the way to hope and freedom.

Unless you think it's a better idea to forget them? Every man for themselves right? Yeah, I didn't think you would agree with that statement.

Forgotten Children
by Tokio Hotel

Just a normal day
Streets turn into graves
Traces have been removed
The search was disapproved
So cold the night
The weak ones lose the fight
Too many of them out there
Noone seems to care

Lost and so alone
Born but never known
Left all on their own
Forgotten children
We'll never hear a name
They carry all the blame
Too young to break the chains
Forgotten children

They see, they feel, believe
Just like we do
They're laughing, and crying
Wanna live here
Like me and you

Eyes without light
Too tired of good-byes
Never felt embraced
And frightened of every face
A life in disguise
Hope forever died

Lost and so alone
Born but never known
Left all on their own
Forgotten children
We'll never hear a name
They carry all the blame
Too young to break the chains
Forgotten children

They see, they feel, believe
Just like we do
They're laughing and crying
Wanna live here
Like me and you

It shouldn't really be that way
It shouldn't really be that way

We see, we feel, believe
Just like you
We're laughing and crying
Wanna live here
We see, we feel, believe
Just like you
We're laughing and crying
Wanna live here
Just like you

There's a book I read once ... Maybe you've heard it before?

Chapter 1

I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk
I fall in.
I am lost ... I am hopeless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

Chapter 2

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I'm in the same place.
But it isn't my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter 3

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in ... It's a habit.
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.

Chapter 4

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

Chapter 5

I walk down another street.

Parental Incest Hurts the Soul
Incest in the Family and Grace

Great book. Short and sweet. It could use a couple extra chapters though.

Chapter 6

I tell everyone I know to not go down that street.

Chapter 7

I post a sign for all others that may choose to walk down that street to read which says:

Caution:
Danger Ahead:
Do Not Enter

We can't have the antidote to an illness and keep it a secret. We can't know where danger lies and not warn others. We can't have Hope and Freedom and tuck it away when it could be helping others. Especially since we have been there ourselves and know exactly how they feel. Those hurting souls are being ignored over and over again by bystanders that refuse to help them.

Does Anybody Hear Her
by Casting Crowns

She is running
A hundred miles an hour in the wrong direction
She is trying
But the canyon's ever widening
In the depths of her cold heart
So she sets out on another misadventure just to find
She's another two years older
And she's three more steps behind

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

She is yearning
For shelter and affection
That she never found at home
She is searching
For a hero to ride in
To ride in and save the day
And in walks her prince charming
And he knows just what to say
Momentary lapse of reason
And she gives herself away

Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Can anybody see?

If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we've never even met her

If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we've never even met her

If judgment looms under every steeple
If lofty glances from lofty people
Can't see past her scarlet letter
And we've never even met her

Never even met her
(Never Even Met her)

(Ohhhhh) Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?
Or does anybody even know she's going down today
Under the shadow of our steeple
With all the lost and lonely people
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me

Does anybody hear her? (Does anybody hear her?)
Does anybody see? (Does anybody See?)
Does anybody even know she's going down today?
Under the shadow of our steeple (shadow of her steeple)
With all the lost and lonely people (Lost and Lonely people)
Searching for the hope that's tucked away in you and me
Does anybody hear her? Does anybody see?

Speak Up About Parental Incest
Incest in the Family Warning

Imagine if we are on the beach right now and we see a child run out to go splash in the water. They play in the water for a minute, but then turn their back to the waves. We then see a huge wave envelop the child and the child goes under. They didn't see it coming. Or maybe they did see it, but couldn't run fast enough to get away from it. No, it's not US out there. Its not our problem. It's the child's problem. It's them drowning. Not us. We are safe on shore.

So, what do we do? Walk away? Pretending we don't see them drowning. Pretending we don't see death playing with that child's life right now? We can tell the child will never be able to make it out on their own.

Maybe we can just pray and walk away.

James 2:15-16

15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

We know without a doubt that we need to save them. If we really were on the beach right now, would we even give a second thought about running and saving a child we see drowning?

Let's go save them instead of pretending we can't see them anymore. We know they are going to die if we don't do something soon.

Hero
by Superchik

[Verse:]
No one talks to her, she feels so alone
She's in too much pain to survive on her own
The hurt she can't handle overflows to a knife
She writes on her arm, wants to give up her life
Each day she goes on is a day that she is brave,
Fighting the lie that giving up is the way,
Each moment of courage her own life she saves
When she throws the pills out a hero is made

[Chorus:]
You could be a hero
Heroes do what's right
You could be a hero
You might save a life
You could be a hero, You could join the fight
For what's right for what's right for what's right

[Verse:]
No one talks to him about how he lives
He thinks that the choices he makes are just his
Doesn't know he's a leader with the way he behaves
And others will follow the choices he's made
He lives on the edge, he's old enough to decide
His brother who wants to be him is just nine
He can do what he wants because it's his right
The choices he makes change a nine year old's life

[Chorus]

[Rap]
Little Mikey D. was the one in class who everyday got brutally harassed
This went on for years until he decided that never again would he shed another tear
So he walked through the door, grabbed a four four out of his father's dressing drawer
And said I can't take life no more
And like that life can be lost
But this ain't even about that
All of us just sat back and watched it happen
Thinkin' it's not my responsibility to solve a problem that isn't about me
This is our problem
This is just one of the daily scenarios which we choose to close our eyes
Instead of doing the right thing
If we make a choice and be the voice for those who won't speak up for themselves
How many lives would be saved, changed, rearranged
Now it's our time to pick a side
So don't keep walkin' by
Not wantin' to intervene
Cause you wanna exist and never be seen
So let's wake up and change the world
Our time is now

Parental Incest Signs
Incest in the Family Concerns

Let's look at another situation. Let's say we are babysitting (might be our kids or someone else's). The children are watching TV with you in the living room. It starts to get late and they start to get sleepy. One of them falls asleep on the couch. They look comfortable so you let them rest there for just a little longer. Slowly, we see them start to become a little more restless. Tossing and turning a little. Then the child quietly starts to mumble in their sleep. It almost sounds like "no, no." But we can't completely make it out. Until they scream. You watch them thinking they will wake themselves up, but they don't.

So, we have a choice. Should we turn up the TV? Or wake the child up and take them out of their nightmare?

Great decision. Let's wake them up. As we slowly wake them up, we realize they are dripping in sweat. Fear. The child was so frightened, they ended up in a sweat. They have a frightened look on their face because they can't quite tell yet if they are completely out of the nightmare. What was real and what wasn't?

It's okay though. Because we know they are safe now. We pull them in tighter and just hold them. And softly whisper, "Everything is okay. You're safe now."

Let's wake these children who are lost in the darkest of nightmares that we know well. It is what God would want us to do.

Why does God want someone like us though? Before you allow the enemy of our souls (satan) to talk you into believing that you could in no way be special or worthy and the thought of little ole you being called by God to help others may seem a little far fetched, ponder on this Truth.

That is exactly who God has called according to the Bible:

1 Corinthians 1:26-28

26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

God uses the rejects of the world. Those who feel they are worthless. Those who are found to be unworthy by the world. So, this means you may be a loner or even be known by others and even yourself as weird or strange ... God has called the peculiar souls to serve Him.

1 Peter 2:9

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Awesome huh?

See ... God chose those He knew could never think more of themselves than they are and would seek only to love and serve Him. He does not want a bunch of souls who will turn on Him down the road and desire to be Him as satan did.

So, if you have any doubt that God would call you because you do not feel like some kind of superhero ... Best think again.

We will not let our feelings of inadequacy get in the way. We will not question God.

What happened to us, happened to so many others and still is and we need to step up and step out and help reach for those lost and troubled souls. They are still out there suffering, crying in the darkness waiting for someone to show them how to hope.

I Am
by Ginny Owens

No Lord, he said, you've got the wrong guy
Simple conversation gets me tongue-tied
And you're telling me to speak with a maniac king
Or could it be I've lost my mind

Besides, I am weak, don't you want someone strong
To lead them out of Egypt when they've been there so long
And anyway, they won't believe You ever spoke to me
It's not your problem, God replied
And the rest is history

'Cause there's a bigger picture you can't see
You don't have to change the world, just trust in Me
'Cause I am your creator, I am working out my plan
And through you I will show them, I Am

Now Lord, are you sure? He's just a shepherd boy
Too small for battle gear with a giant to destroy
What on earth can he do with five stones and a sling
It's not your problem, God replied
'Cause I can do anything

There's a bigger picture you can't see
You don't have to change the world, just trust in me
'Cause I am your creator, I am working out my plan
And through you, I will show them

I am the first, I am the last
I am the present and the past
I am tomorrow and today
I am the only way

Great Lord, she said, I'm just a simple girl
You say that I will bring your son into the world
How can I understand this thing You're gonna do
It's not your problem, God replied

'Cause, there's a bigger picture
And you don't have to change the world (oh no)
I'm your creator, I am working out my plan
And through you, I will show them
There's a bigger picture, you can't see
You don't have to change the world, just trust in me
'Cause I am your creator, I am working out my plan
And through you, I will show them, I Am
I Am.

Check out those billboards over there! Oh yeah. You can definitely tell we are almost in the State of Freedom.

Parental Incest Secret Shared
Incest in the Family Revealed

On the home page, there was a note left to the bystander. Now, that we are free, that note can be applied to us. Let's take a look at it:

Let's pull over and rest one more time before we reach our destination. I am leaving a song that I hope we can make our prayer to God.

Give Me Your Eyes
by Brandon Heath

Looked down from a broken sky
Traced out by the city lights
My world from a mile high
Best seat in the house tonight
Touched down on the cold black top
Hold on for the sudden stop
Breath in the familiar shock
Of confusion and chaos
All those people going somewhere,
Why have I never cared?

Chorus:
Give me your eyes for just one second
Give me your eyes so I can see
Everything that I keep missing
Give me your love for humanity
Give me your arms for the broken hearted
Ones that are far beyond my reach.
Give me your heart for the ones forgotten
Give me your eyes so I can see
Yeah
Yeah

Step out on a busy street
See a girl and our eyes meet
Does her best to smile at me
To hide what's underneath
There's a man just to her right
Black suit and a bright red tie
Too ashamed to tell his wife
He's out of work
He's buying time
All those people going somewhere
Why have I never cared?

Chorus

I've been there a million times
A couple of million eyes
Just moving past me by
I swear I never thought that I was wrong
Well I want a second glance
So give me a second chance
To see the way you see the people all along

Chorus (x2)

Don't forget to journal tonight! I can't wait to meet up with you tomorrow!! I know of a program that will assist us in being able to reach out and help others.

Do you know who I am yet?

If not, you will tomorrow!
