One of my favorite chapters in the Bible is John chapter 14. I love the idea of having a Comforter with me.

Regarding spiritual gifts. I knew that I have the gift of helps, because I love helping people. Recently, however, several friends here in chat have told me that they sense I have other gifts, and have told me which ones. I have to admit, they just about floored me.

I love the thought of the Holy Spirit being the best friend I'll ever have. I do have some close friends here on earth, even here in chat, who I love very much. But the idea of the Holy Spirit being my best friend...WOW!!!

loveiskind, yes the Holy Spirit as your best friend is awesome, to know that He holds you when you need a hug, to know that He smiles when you are helping another, and to know you are loved enough to have Him as your friend are all blessing we have from the Holy Spirit. He is shining in you and I'm so glad to see you enjoying His presence.
