tonight i went to a dance hall with some non-christian co-workers. i had a cpl glasses of wine and laughed and talked with them, but in the back of my mind i was wondering what i would encounter on my path to my calling. i had my work uniform on and tennis shoes, i danced but mostly sitting in my chair.
8 months ago it would have been a totally different night. i would have prolly worn something next to nothing and would have been looking to do something to feed my hubby's passion for an erotic tale.
im so glad im saved! this is a huge change from what i used to be. what ppl expected of me. no one ever took the time to know me beyond the mini skirt.
but GOD! HE knows the inner child. HE wants something more for me and expects something different from me.
Lord, i thank you for the change in me. i look forward to serving you and the body of Christ in the future.
ps. tonight's step was about peer pressure. i wasn't pressured, but i knew that wasn't the old me in that place tonight.

Yes, it is amazing how we change and don't miss the old, wanting to please Him but it becomes easier then we thought it could.

God's changes are such that He can use the changes to witness to others...that when you say I am a Christian...they can say yes I've noticed some changes in you. You witnessed to many there at that dance hall and to your co-workers as well. God is smiling on you for sure.
