My last post read "New" , didnt realize I'd been here all along, but my head was somewhere else.

Taking the "test" my score read 61-70 %. I went Oh ? Then I remembered what I tell my AA newbies , "If u just put down the first drink for one day, you have a 50/50 chance that you'll make it- all you have to work on is that 1% to b ahead of the game !", so 61/70 puts me in 11/20 % ahead bracket doesn't it ?

Yes, Faith does move mountains indeed , bring a shovel !

Vahn I'm so glad you have begun this new study. Now you begin stepping out, sharing the love of Jesus with others, and this study is going to help you grow even more in your relationship with the Lord. This study will help you begin to respond when God comes knocking on your door and says...vahn I need your help. I'm so excited for you. *angelbounce* Don't let the test scores discourage you...just use them to know that God's about to teach you lots of things, and your gonna see those scores become a goal of what you want to do for Him.

Thank you all for words of encouragement, hope & gladness of what I'm doing. will try to do the best I can with what I got.

A coach told me a long time ago, "scores" are but numbers, how well you play is what matters.

My job is to give it my 100% , wether "the" score reads 1 or 99.99 is not mine to decide, as long as its above zero I'm happy.

"the body has many parts that serve diff. functions" or something like that

Does any one have a broom !?!?!

vahn,
As I have studied the men God used, He chose the ones that "we" would not have chosen.
God grades the heart. I feel so unworthy to be called of Him but He chose me. I read the forums everyday and I wished I could express myself as the others do here. I do not post or chat that much because I feel this way. But, when it requires prayer, I do pray for the person or situation. This is part of God's work too.
There are so many ways that God can use us.
As long as my motives are pure and genuine, is all that matters.
I am also glad that God opened the door for you to be here vahn.

Luv ya

Howdy again, Vahn.

Yep, you make the decision to serve the Lord and HE will show you how. A number is just a number. He is always with you to teach, guide, prompt, comfort, and protect.

Are we ladies wordy? *dunno*

Ok, yes we are. ;)

Love you all so very much!

*Praying*

Do you recall someone saying something like "It is easy for us to let up on spiritual principals and rest on our laurells , we're headed for trouble if we do."
God didn't bring us all the way here to drop us now or do nothing , regardless of how we feel.
Remember, the author of the above sentence, felt the same way, as many of us do, he also wrote "work, work and more work, faith w/o works is dead"

The author you were referring to was very spiritual. He knew where the power to overcome came from. "We" were the ones who got ourselves in the shape we ended up and "we" now had to depend on a Power to help us.
There is a name above every name and His name is Jesus.
The love of God is amazing and there is no feeling that can compare.
This is why I have stayed here at Oasis because the Love of God abides here.
Your sponsor is also telling you to be careful "riding on the clouds" in which is the same thing as take heed let ye fall.
So, humility is of most importance in our walk and thinking. Amen?
Thanks for sharing as I learn from you.
I suppose you have read about the people who were on a ship that was sinking. They shared a common bond.
I'm with ya bro.

Luv ya
