Study 3

On my way here this eve the thought " What if I had never known about oasis ? " ran through my head , (and of course I HAVE to follow it up with what if I had never "met" Jesus ) right ? "where would I go ?"

Considering my firm belief of "Nothing , absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake" , which immediately puts me in a "every action ,event , or reaction is a prelude to another" frame of mind , and considering the thoughts that ran I asked myself , "what caused it" . Answer , Gratitude .

The "waters" were calm as glass today , thanx to the outcome of the study yesterday .

Apparently there had been some "bickering" about the "terms" I had posted by the door, I found out later it was Mr. Jaguar , he even complained to me about it, "being insensitive" and " contradictory" he called it . in the process I get a whiff that a couple of the "brass" will be in attendance at the study , So , run to the room , read , read , and reread , make notes , make sure I get the verses right the works , look at my watch , it was all done in 3 mins time !! who ? me nervous ? Naaah !!

Study , Spirit welcoming prayer , I made the mistake (so I thought ) of asking " Before we begin , are there any questions that needed to be cleared up " and of course of all the people guess who ? Oh Mr Jagg himself right ? what a surprize right? better yet , of all the Q's he could come up with , he put it in the most sarcastic (to me) and "I'm challenging you " context , (now that the brass is here ) > He said " Suppose you die today vahn , and go in front of God , what would your answer to Him be whether He should let you in to His Kingdom ? " . I'm thinking "How ORIGINAL Jags ! " . Now I dont know (actually I do , for I visited my Lord for Guidance) where the answer came from , and without skipping a beat I shot back , could you repeat what you asked ? he says " Suppo . " no the next sentence , "When you in front of God " Stop right there !!

All that prepping , sweating , and fretting went right out the window , the answer to All of my "mental whirlwind" came in that single line , and I took no prisoners !
I started it with (squeezing as much 'politeness' I can muster) "My dear Brother , getting in front of God is the sole purpose of my whole existence and the sole purpose of me taking this position here is because of the fact someone I know challenged me not to be a Jonah by withholding the Good news I received to selfish, self centered people like you , you ask me a question at the beginning of Bible study basing it on your grudge you have that I wont listen to your whinings of your wife whom God entrusted you with , to love and cherish , till death , no matter what , you not only chase her out of the marriage but downright told God I dont this bride you gave me I want another one , and I want my jaguar back !! " We have close to twenty people here that came to hear and learn what the Bible has to say , and you know what ? You dont know how much I appreciate your seeming stupid question for within it is the answer for MY search , see ? you're not the only selfish one here !

"My dear brothers and sisters , what else one would ask for , but to BE IN FRONT OF GOD !! Our Lord said no one goes to My Father EXCEPT through me , and guess what ? Where does God LIVE ? Hah !!

"Even if God was to choose for me to go to hell (which by the way , to me it doesn't exist any longer) even if He chose that , I would have absolutely no qualms about that for I KNOW He will be there with me ,
how do I know ? here are a couple of examples , " I will never leave you nor forsake you " " Though I walk in the valley of the shadow of death I know my God is there " and " remember Daniels three friends thrown in the fiery pit , when the king looked in he saw a FOURTH man , I mean these guys were not just walking around ! They were going 'Our Go---D isa Awsome God he rei----gns from heaven a-bove !!!

"Any more questions before we close ?" could hear a pin drop !

"OK Jags , do you care to lead us with a closing prayer ? "

OH , I know Its not my hat that's shrinking ! You know ? My head is not swelling either , It's just my heart pumping all the frustrations and anger out of me and being replaced by the Joy My Lord and Saviour promised me He will , You wanna piece of it ?

And that's when Holy Spirit began to speak. And through you because you decided to allow Him to do so. He is smiling on you vahn. Not much more I can say, other than God is proud to have been able to use you my friend. He loves you so very much.

Hey vahn, sorry I didn't get here sooner.

I didn't mean for there to be any jabs at you but for it to be an encouragement of ... see, it is getting easier the more you do it.
The more you allow the Holy Spirit to lead, the easier it is for you to teach others.

So sorry if you took it the wrong way.

deetu, I don't think vahn met jabs in a bad way. I jab at him all the time sis. I think what he means by jabs is we are bringing him to account for his actions, and showing him where he might want to work on in His walk with God. This is good to do, as we are our brother's keeper. I think vahn was just joking with ya sis.
