MCFC-Step 6

I have been at my new job for a week now and I just love it! Thank you Lord Jesus. Anyway, I have been trying to work on my time management skills and well, sometimes it doesn't work out exactly how I plan it. My goal being, when I get up in the morning I talk to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit; I put the tv on the christian channel TBN and listen to the Word of God; pray on my way to work; read the Daily Bread; read the Bible; listen to Pastor Brunson from First Baptist Church in Jacksonville on Family radio and eat my breakfast before I start my job. Wow, now that I am putting this down, it sure seems like it's a lot but it really isn't to me. Now, if I'm running just a few minutes behind I am not able to get all these things done before work but the Lord knows what is in my heart. I know that He is with me and is helping me to learn my job and putting me with people who definitely need Him too.

Friday morning I could sense the heavy hearts of the people I sat with while in training and gave me the opportunity to share God with them. I'm thankful for all the Lord has done for me, so I share those experiences with them. They were being very receptive and I sensed they felt relieved as well. The Holy Spirit had me hug one young lady as she shared her problems with me. God is sooo good! I am learning that although making plans is a good thing that when things don't go as planned it's okay. I know that it's God taking the wheel and I just need to go with the flow! Thank you Lord Jesus!

sleepless, God knows your heart and He knows what time you have to spend directly with Him and indirectly with Him....maybe your not able to spend as much time in study...but that doesn't mean your not spending time with God...just sitting there at work sharing with those people...was you spending time with God...He was there with all of you...and He was reaching out to those people through you.
