Step 14

Well here I am...on the last step of the program...but the journey continues always...it's a journey for Life.

This step talks about putting our calling to use by reaching for lost souls. Yesterday I finished a project to help reach out to lost souls...and hope to see God's glory realized through it very soon. I was thinking this morning about how much I want the world to know about Jesus. How it's something I desire more than anything. It's a battle...but it's one that I can't stop fighting.

Those souls that I know are the ones that God wants me to reach for...are the ones that I do feel a connection with almost immediately. In fact, I love watching souls grow from the CCCC steps to the MCFC steps to working for the Lord in helping others find the Truth. It just brings joy to my heart to see another soul healed.

One more day=one more soul to reach for...til He calls me home.

Here I Am, Send Me Lord.

Thank you to all of you who walked this journey with me...and to the one of you who encouraged me to start the counseling steps again...you know who you are....I am saying thank you for helping me get up.

luv all of ya

Revisiting step 2 as I'm still struggling greatly even after redoing this program...

and with what is expected at this time I feel like I want to give the entire calling back...because I cannot deal with what is expected...I am unhappy...and noone understands me....absolutely noone.

Step 2 says this:

God has given you the gift of being called, so you are expected be more responsible than others. That responsibility includes things like sacrifice when you may not feel like giving, kindness when others may not be kind to you, selflessness when others are being selfish, strength when you feel week, forgiveness when you've been insulted or hurt or sinned against, love when you are hated, patience when you feel like you can't wait for something, kindness when others are unkind to you, enthusiasm when others don't care, eagerness when others are lazy, and love when people are being hateful. As a shepherd, you are extraordinary, and you are expected to act like it. You may have heard the phrase 'mind over matter' before. That's the ability to control your thoughts about something even when it's something that would cause the average person to be emotional about it. All the examples that you just read are mind over matter. With a Christ-like mind, no matter what the matter is, you can control your attitude about it and act on it with a Christ-like response.

Each and every day of your life, your character will be tested by the world. You're also being tested by God, to see if you're worthy of the everlasting life that He promises to you as a Christian. Every day is a new day, and new and different challenges will come about to see if you will handle them with godly character.

My mind is weak, my heart is breaking, and I struggle to continue...

Somewhere around here , someone posted a question about God's asking Elijah to go up a mountain as to meet Him there , (or something like that) :) , I will try to find it and copy/paste if I can , which , the way I see it and hope it might shed a bit of light as to where you might be at this time . (so , hold on , don't go nowhere ok ? :) )

I'm kinda lost when it comes to this passage

1 Kings 19:11-13
(11)and He said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:
(12)And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
(13)And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

And here is one of the answers that , in its the generality of where you're finding yourself today , would , I hope and pray apply .
The Mountain that God instructed Elijah to "go up" , symbolically represent Prayer , (like in our culture today , when we say 'hit your knees ' or 'hand to hand combat' and such) so basically God is instructing Elijah to "come up and pray" (lift up your spirit) and it says , when he (Elijah) was on his way , God passed by , and then while on his way , the earthquakes and and the fires came upon , again symbolically speaking , it is describing trials and tribulations .
Elijah knew they were not of God (for God was not in them - the earthquake and the wind , and fire ) so Elijah hid in the cavern , (sort of till they pass) .
God asking Elijah why are you hiding here , He is basically telling or asking Elijah don't you have enough faith ? wasn't I the one asking you to come up here ? Would I hurt you ? Would I leave you in the middle of a crisis during prayer ? What is it you're hiding from ?

It was God's way to strengthen Elijah's faith in Him .

Or , could it be that our Lord saying , "Stronger .. stronger Mlg !!"

Paul said "I will rejoice when those times come" (or something like that) :)

This too shall pass MLG ,

In Christ , our Lord
luv ya

I have heard many speak about the pain they feel right now. Some I had no idea they were hurting so terribly inside. I my self feel a deep pain that has stolen my smile. I believe it's an attack of the enemy. unloved? unappreciated? unneeded? distant? misunderstood?

Is it possible God can use this to draw us into His presence where we will seek who we are in Him and focus on how he sees us as well as His plan for us.

In rise and shine today Kim shared this verse...
1 Corinthians 4:5Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.

What struck me was...At that time each will receive his praise from God.

Imagine Jesus himself taking the time to give you praise. That is difficult for me to imagine. Always kinda felt like when I get there he'll be to busy with those he finds special to take the time to give me praise. Maybe that is something you need to think about as well sis.

BTW I wouldn't take the time to share this with you, if I didn't care about you.
I do love you.
*hug*
Have a wonderful day in the Lord and Savior. Keep seeking His face.

Hi vahn and pine

I normally read the Bible when I first wake up and right before I go to sleep...but last night I was struggling so much I didn't want to touch my Bible...I went to sleep instead.

When I awoke this morning...my dogs came to love on me...but not just love...but were so jealous it was a battle between the two to see who could get closest....I needed the love this morning...and God knew it...

Then I spent some time talking to God...telling Him my struggles and hurts...and asking Him why things are going as they are...and He pushed me to open my Bible and read...and there it was understanding...

Psalms 142

1 I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5 I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

But then there was more...He directed me to Proverbs 3 as well which talks about Happiness through wisdom...

This is what I have to find...my joy again...joy in my calling to serve Him.

Pine you are right sis...the enemy has been chasing me for awhile now...but I find no comfort or rest. I seek God's refuge yet find no peace. Is all of this to make me stronger as vahn says...possibly...and the thought that each will receive His praise from God...very difficult to imagine but I think it's because at times we weigh God's time to be like man's time...busy, busy, busy...but I bet God is never busy...He has all the time we need....
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

I agree.

The enemy is pushing many of us away. Hold tight and don't let him cause you know if he is trying to get you away then you must be doing a good thing for the kingdom.
