His calling...my journey to walk worthy

This forum is a place where those who feel called by the Lord are able to post about any trials or victories they are going through as they serve the Lord by reaching and teaching His children. You can post and then lock your thread so no one can reply, if you so choose. Think of it as your own personal diary or journal that you choose to share with others who are called as to share ideas, experiences and tips as they too serve the Lord.

Matthew 18:6-7

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

I know that my God is a God that avenges all evil...I've thought many times over today...what if...what could have happened...

And then:

Praise be to God for He is faithful to those who love Him.

My 9 year old nephew was kidnapped in Jamaica a few days ago...and my sister-in-law was almost dragged into a home at the same time....our family is just finding out about the incident...my brother thankfully was able to catch the guy before he got too far with my nephew and to get my nephew back and to get his family back to safety quickly...I see how God moved in this...I am so thankful that God prevented worse things from happening...I see the danger that can befall anyone who innocently realizes that evil does walk to and fro...looking to devour...

God works in all things...I still think of what if...and what could have...it's hard not too...but I know that they are safe...and it is through God this has been made possible.

Thank you Jesus

My friend went home to be with my Jesus last night....no more suffering...no more pain...sure gonna miss seeing him around...but peace has now come to him.

Have another friend who is dying...just a matter of time...gonna make food for her family on Saturday and take to them to help them out....just feel the need to do something to comfort them through the days ahead.

Tired today...didn't sleep well last night at all....

Need His presence to surround me with strength...

Life is wearing me thin.

No matter the age or the degree of illness death still leaves a stink to those left behind.

Praising God that we have hope that our loved ones who passed on into another world have received peace and that one day we will be with them again.

May you receive the blessed peace and rest, God grant you strength to carry on.

Been a busy day...been cooking for my friend's family today...my mom and I are going to take them the food in a little bit. I haven't seen my friend...but I hear she looks bad physically...I'm glad that we can have peace in knowing that her body now is not what she will have when she gets to Heaven. She's a Christian and a good lady...May God make her days ahead peaceful and not allow her too much suffering.

On a lighter note...did you know that your thumb is as long as your nose?

We, your family in Jesus, won't let you quit. I know how you feel, though. But God won't let you quit. He loves you and He has enabled you to finish the race set before you. Sometimes in my life, when I have felt like just quitting, was the time to be still and know that He is God.

"The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing." Zephaniah 3:17 God is singing over you, mlg, may you hear His whispers. *Pray*

Love you and praying for you, dear friend *hug*

Quitting is not an option. Especially when it comes to chocolate ;)

Stay in faith and endure. God ALWAYS comes though.

*hug* Love and blessings to you mlg

I can't seem to find what I've lost...my joy...I can't find it in prayer...can't find it in reading my Bible...can't find it in listening to Christian music...where is it? I thought joy comes in the morning...yet every morning I awake...it's still gone.

This is where I am at this time:

Hold My Heart by Tenth Avenue North

How long must I pray, must I pray to You?
How long must I wait, must I wait for You?
How long 'til I see Your face, see You shining through?
I'm on my knees, begging You to notice me.
I'm on my knees, Father will you turn to me?

One tear in the driving rain,
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breakin' heart?
One light, that's all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Won't You come close and hold my heart

I've been so afraid, afraid to close my eyes
So much can slip away before I say goodbye.
But if there's no other way, I'm done asking why.
Cuz I'm on my knees, begging You to turn to me
I'm on my knees, Father will you run to me?

One tear in the driving rain,
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breakin' heart?
One light, that's all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Won't You come close and hold my heart.

So many questions without answers, Your promises remain
I can't sleep but I'll take my chances to hear You call my name
To hear You call my name

One tear in the driving rain,
One voice in a sea of pain
Could the maker of the stars
Hear the sound of my breakin' heart?
One light, that's all I am
Right now I can barely stand
If You're everything You say You are
Won't You come close and hold my heart.

Hold my heart, could you hold my heart?
Hold my heart.

And with that goodnight.
