NOT TO BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT. LET US
SEEK AND FIND THE TRUTH OF BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT, SHALL WE?

Is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?

Matthew
12:31
Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be
forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
shall not be forgiven unto men. |
Knowing this TRUTH, it would be good to know how someone would commit blasphemy
against the Holy Spirit, as to avoid doing so.
Many people have read this
Scripture or had it shared with them and fear that they have
blasphemed against the Holy Spirit and have therefore fallen
from God's Grace.
Wow ... Scary thought.
But, is it TRUTH?
Let's find out ...
So, what is blasphemy of
the Holy Spirit?
The Bible says that it is impossible to be forgiven, if one
has experienced the gift of the Holy Spirit and "fell AWAY"
or decided to go back to AND REMAIN in their old ways, and
pretend the TRUTH never existed, as it would be like
crucifying Jesus afresh.

Hebrews 6:4-6
For it is impossible
for those who were
once enlightened,
and have tasted of the Heavenly gift,
and were made partakers of the Holy
Ghost, And have tasted the good word
of God, and the powers of the world to come,
IF they shall fall away,
to renew them again unto repentance;
seeing they crucify to themselves
the Son of God afresh, and put him
to an open shame. |
To do
so is compared to a dog returning to his vomit.

Peter 2:20-22
For if
after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through
the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are
again entangled therein,
and overcome, the
latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For
it had been better for them not to have known the way of
righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from
the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb,
The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that
was washed to her wallowing in the mire. |
Now this does NOT mean that we will not fall down as we sojourn down our Christian
walk.
There is a HUGE difference
between falling down
and falling away...
This Scripture refers to those who fall and STAY AWAY ... FOREVER.
Always beware cuz the devil likes to twist scripture around as to
try and condemn Christians and make em feel they have no part in God's plan or
have fallen from God's Grace ... So they may as well follow him and his ways.
C'mon ... If every
Christian who sinned was removed from God's Grace and could never return ...
Who would be saved?
I mean ...
Do you know someone who
has never sinned?
A Christian who has not
fallen down?
If every Christian who
sinned was history ...
There would be no hope for
any of us.
Jesus would be some kinda
... One time sin offering.
Uhhhhhhh then what does
this mean?

Hebrews 10:1-10
For the law having a shadow of good things to come,
and not the very image of the things, can never with
those sacrifices which they offered year by year
continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For
then would they not have ceased to be offered? because
that the worshippers once purged should have had no
more conscience of sins. But in those sacrifices there
is a remembrance again made of sins every year. For it
is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats
should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into
the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou
wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In
burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had
no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of
the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt
offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not,
neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by
the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O
God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish
the second.
By the which will we are sanctified through the
offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL. |
ONCE ... FOR ALL
ALL SINS
WHEN WE REPENT
If an animal sacrifice could remove sins as often
as needed ...
And Jesus being the new
Sacrifice for our sins ... We could
never sin after we become believers ...
That would make an animal of more value than our
Lord ...
God Forbid !!!
How would the
New Covenant be a better
Covenant if we are unable to sin even ONCE after we become believers?
Yeah, there is something wrong with THAT
interpretation of these Scriptures.
It seems that some CONfuse grieving the Holy Spirit
with Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit:

Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye
are sealed unto the day of redemption. |
The
Holy Spirit is GOD'S SPIRIT.
He is a
bundle of emotions and gets hurt and grieved.
But ... He
also loves and forgives.
We simply need to learn how not quench the Spirit of God in
our Lives.
Do not
mistake blasphemy to be the same
as grieving Him. They are two
very different things. God
sacrificed His only Son so that
you can be forgiven for your
sins and have the hope of
eternal life with Him. He also
knows that you have
Original
sin, and that sin is inevitable
in man, so don't be afraid that
you will be doomed anytime you
fall down, backslide or sin.
It is simply not
true.
So what is
blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when you
don't believe that the Holy
Spirit exists
anymore, or when you do believe, but you forsake
Him and NEVER return.
So how do we discern if and when we blaspheme the Holy
Spirit?
The answer is simple ...
If you care that you might have ... You have not.
Let's face the
FACTS ...
We all fall down
… We all backslide at times. We all sin.
God is not
looking for ways to sentence us to Hell.
We KNOW that ...
The TRUTH is just the opposite ...

3:16-17
For God SO LOVED the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son
into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might
be saved. |
It is obvious that God is looking for ways to get us into Heaven
...
NOT keep us out and the Holy Spirit is our promised Comforter.
Not someone we should live in
fear of.
According to Jesus ... All you have to do is believe in
Jesus to receive the Holy Spirit within you ...

John 7:38-39
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly
shall flow rivers of living water. (But
this spake He of the Spirit, which
they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet
given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) |
And ask God for the Holy Spirit.

Luke
11:13
If ye then, being evil,
know how to give good gifts unto your children:
how much more shall your
Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him? |
He will actually speak to your mind
and heart, IF you will listen.

Hebrews

Wherefore as the Holy
Ghost saith, Today IF ye will hear his voice. |
Did you know
... Our bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit?
He lives INSIDE of us.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that
the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? |

What? know ye not that
your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost
which is in you,
which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? |
Since He dwells within us, it is obvious
we should enhance our relationship with Him based on LOVE
... Not fear.
